Woodbine
Blackstock Road
£3.70 each
1 chili
Didnt ask single or double
2/5 Pres
Garnish= Lemon

A nice glass, and a good dash of lee and perins gave this unspectacular effort a boost. The two glasses were of different volumes though!

Blackstock Road
£8 for two
.5/5 Chillis
Didn't ask single or double
Garnish= Lemon slice
Pres= 1.5

Despite scoring low on almost all criteria, this nifty little number really delivered. The bar tender left the tabasco for our own taste, I added an additional 5 drops and it was still fully deserving of its half a chili tally.

It was a deceptively decent drop.

Upon asking the bar keep the ingredients, for I couldn't quite put my finger on some of its complex flavours- I was rebuffed! "It's a secret, I made it" were her words. She kept hold of her secrets, and I dont know what happened, but I walked away with two blueberry vodka shots!

Royal Oak

Columbian Road E2

Garnish= Lemon and grated horseradish.
.5 Chilli 1/5 presentation

Didn't ask if it was a single or double.
two for £7

Notes= Only the horseradish saves this from a dire effort, tasty enough but lacks spice, flair and was as if they couldn't be bothered.

overall 2/5 stars.

Charles Lamb Pub

2 Singles for £8

Garnish= Cucumber, Basil leaves, grated horseradish and lemon.

3.5/5 Chillis 3/5 Presentation

Notes= Fresh tasting. Basil a nice touch but cucumber not to my taste, though added to the overall freshness. Tomato juice was watery.

3.5/f overall.
